Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Civil Engineer with proven experience in the mining industry to join our operations team in Muro. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, supervision, and ongoing maintenance of civil infrastructure critical to our mining activities. You will ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Infrastructure Design: Plan and engineer essential site infrastructure, including access roads, drainage systems, structural foundations, and specialized mining support structures.

• Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring strict adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality specifications.

• Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Implement and enforce rigorous safety protocols in alignment with national mining regulations and industry best practices.

• Structural Integrity: Conduct regular technical assessments to ensure the stability, durability, and safety of all civil works.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with geologists, mining engineers, and environmental specialists to integrate civil works seamlessly into the broader mining operation.

• Preventative Maintenance: Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance schedules for the continuous inspection and upkeep of site infrastructure.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s degree is considered an advantage.

• Experience: 4–8 years of relevant professional experience specifically within mining or heavy industrial sectors.

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and industry-standard structural analysis software.

• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of mining-specific regulations, environmental standards, and workplace safety codes.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong leadership, and effective communication skills to manage stakeholders at all levels.
