Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and technically sound Civil Engineer to lead and support the planning, design, supervision, and execution of complex agricultural and infrastructure projects across Nigeria.

The ideal candidate will combine solid structural and civil engineering expertise with a passion for sustainable, climate-smart infrastructure development. You will manage projects from conceptualization through to site execution, ensuring all deliverables meet international quality, safety, and timeline standards.

Requirements:

• Design & Technical Planning: Lead design conceptualization, structural modeling, and the interpretation of engineering drawings and project specifications for civil and agricultural infrastructure.

• Project Management & Execution: Direct on-site construction activities, manage workflows, prepare detailed work schedules, and ensure projects are executed within budget and timelines.

• Reporting & Quality Control: Prepare comprehensive technical reports, monitor project progress, and proactively resolve complex engineering or technical issues on-site.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to national and international engineering standards, health and safety regulations (HSE), and quality requirements.

• Sustainable Development: Support the development, design, and implementation of climate-smart agricultural facilities, earthworks, and structures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of verifiable post-qualification experience in infrastructure, construction, or agricultural engineering projects.

• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience in structural analysis, road design/construction, advanced drainage systems, earthworks, water supply, and irrigation support systems.

• Professional Certifications: COREN registration or a relevant professional certification (NSE, PMP, etc.) is highly advantageous.

• Key Attributes: Detail-oriented, results-driven, proactive, and capable of collaborating seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams.

Required Software Proficiency

Candidates must possess advanced operating knowledge of the following tools:

• CAD & Modeling: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit

• Structural Analysis: Prota Structure, STAAD.Pro, ETABS

• Project Management: Microsoft Project, Primavera P6

• Surveying: GIS or GIS-related software (added advantage)
