Job Description:

We are seeking a Chinese Translator who will accurately convert written or spoken Chinese materials into other languages, such as English, Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa while preserving the meaning, context, and tone of the original text.

Requirements:

• Served as a Chinese translator for the production department.
• Assist with communication between English-speaking and Chinese-speaking employees.
• Provide management with clear and precise translations of written materials and interpretations of verbal communication.
• Offer interpretations for questions, answers, statements, arguments, explanations, and other forms of verbal communication.
• Adhere to applicable ethics and standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• HND/BSC qualification in a relevant discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chinese Translator.
• A valid certificate of accredited Chinese interpreting training.
• Excellent verbal and written Chinese communication skills.
• Strong listening, retention, and note-taking skills.
• Clear enunciation and pronunciation, with a pleasant and professional voice.
