Job Description:
We are searching for a high-impact, visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to serve as the operational architect for our expanding footprint in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and Sierra Leone. Reporting directly to the Board/CEO, you will oversee our diverse portfolio across technology, fintech, professional training, and digital services. This is a mission-critical leadership role designed for an executive who thrives on complexity, enjoys scaling businesses across borders, and possesses the strategic acumen to align diverse regional operations under one unified growth vision.
Requirements:
Multi-Country Operational Oversight: Direct daily business activities across four major African markets, ensuring high standards of performance, compliance, and service delivery.
Strategic Execution: Translate the organization’s vision into actionable growth plans, overseeing the expansion of our technological and digital service offerings into new territories.
Performance Optimization: Implement rigorous operational frameworks to increase efficiency, streamline cross-functional workflows, and reduce operational overhead across all subsidiaries.
Leadership & Alignment: Mentor and lead executive teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration that ensures business goals are met consistently across regions.
Innovation & Market Entry: Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities, leveraging our fintech and training platforms to gain a competitive edge.
Stakeholder & Partnership Management: Cultivate and manage high-level relationships with institutional partners, regulators, and key stakeholders to support regional expansion.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an MBA is highly preferred.
Experience: 8–10 years of leadership experience, with a minimum of 3+ years in senior management (e.g., C-Suite, VP, or Director level).
Industry Expertise: Proven background in technology, fintech, software, or digital services.
Geographic Scope: Demonstrable success in managing multi-country or regional operations (experience in the African market is essential).
