Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and safety-conscious Charging Operator to anchor our energy infrastructure in Lagos (Lekki/VI). In the evolving landscape of electric mobility and powered equipment, success is defined by "Uptime Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize rigorous charging schedules with the clinical precision required for electrical safety and equipment inspections. This role is designed for a "Technical Support Specialist" with 2–5 years of experience who can blend "Operational Grit" (managing battery cycles) with the "Diagnostic Agility" required to identify hardware faults before they cause downtime.
Requirements:
1. Energy Orchestration & Schedule Governance
Cycle Sovereignty: Operate and monitor charging stations for vehicles and equipment, ensuring that every asset is powered according to the "Source of Requirements" defined by operational needs.
Scheduling Logic: Assist in the high-fidelity planning of charging rotations to eliminate "Friction Points" or delays in fleet deployment.
Usage Stewardship: Maintain millimetric records of all charging activities, energy usage, and station downtime to provide data-driven insights to management.
2. Infrastructure Integrity & Safety Logic
Hardware Surveillance: Inspect charging units, high-voltage cables, and connections for faults or damage with clinical attention to detail.
Hazard Governance: Maintain the charging area as a "Zero-Hazard" zone—organized, clean, and strictly compliant with electrical safety guidelines.
Storage Sovereignty: Ensure the high-fidelity handling and storage of batteries and charging devices, protecting these critical assets from environmental or mechanical damage.
3. Technical Support & Escalation Diplomacy
Diagnostic Excellence: Support basic troubleshooting of charging systems, identifying minor malfunctions that can be resolved on-site.
Escalation Sovereignty: Report and escalate complex technical issues to the maintenance team with high-speed accuracy to ensure minimal disruption to the "Energy Flow."
Autonomous Execution: Deliver consistent results with minimal supervision, acting as the primary "Field Guardian" for the charging infrastructure.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of SSCE/OND or an equivalent technical qualification.
Experience: 2–5 years of robust experience in technical operations, electrical systems, or fleet management (advantageous).
Location: Strict Requirement: Must reside in Lekki, Victoria Island (VI), or the immediate environs for rapid accessibility.
Core Competencies
Technical Grit: A basic understanding of electrical safety, circuit handling, and equipment maintenance.
Operational Power: Exceptional ability to follow complex technical instructions and work independently.
Detail Orientation: A clinical focus on detecting physical wear and tear on charging hardware.
