Job Description:

We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team in Ikeja, Lagos. In this role, you will be the face of our business, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive while managing financial transactions with precision and integrity.

Requirements:

• Transaction Excellence: Accurately process sales via POS systems and cash registers, ensuring every payment—whether cash or credit—is handled correctly.

• Financial Oversight: Perform daily cash reconciliations and manage bank deposits for cheques and cash to ensure 100% financial accuracy.

• Customer Engagement: Provide a warm, helpful, and professional experience, answering product queries and ensuring customer satisfaction from start to finish.

• Operational Standards: Maintain a pristine and organized checkout environment while strictly adhering to company safety and security protocols.

• Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with colleagues to streamline operations and deliver consistent service excellence in a fast-paced retail/business environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Sc or HND in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

• Experience: Prior experience in a cashier or customer-facing role is highly preferred.

• Core Competencies:

  • Numerical Precision: Exceptional math and accounting skills with a proven ability to balance transactions without error.

  • Technical Literacy: Familiarity with modern POS systems and basic computer operations.
