Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber Business Operations & Technical Sales Supervisor to serve as a strategic engine for our EPC growth. This is a critical leadership role (5–8 years experience) designed for a "Technical Commercialist"—someone who possesses the engineering depth to understand complex oil and gas projects and the commercial grit to win them.
Reporting directly to the COO, your mission is to bridge the gap between technical engineering capabilities and market expansion. You will own the entire revenue lifecycle—from identifying upstream/downstream opportunities and managing multimillion-dollar tenders to overseeing procurement integrity. If you can navigate the complex procurement cycles of IOCs and NOCs while driving operational efficiency, we want you to lead our business operations.
Requirements:
1. Strategic Business Development & Market Growth
Revenue Engineering: Lead the full sales cycle for EPC projects, identifying and qualifying high-value opportunities across the oil and gas value chain (Upstream, Midstream, Downstream).
Key Account Sovereignty: Act as the primary relationship architect for IOCs, NOCs, and major service companies, ensuring long-term partnerships and contract renewals.
Commercial Negotiation: Navigate complex contract structures and service agreements to secure favorable terms aligned with the company’s risk appetite and profit goals.
2. Bid, Tender & Proposal Governance
Tender Excellence: Coordinate the end-to-end bid management process, ensuring 100% compliance with rigorous technical and commercial client requirements.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Finance to translate technical specs into high-quality, winning commercial proposals.
Risk Forensics: Review tender documents to identify potential operational risks and commercial opportunities, ensuring every proposal meets industry and regulatory standards.
3. Procurement & Operational Oversight
Procurement Integrity: Oversee procurement workflows to ensure cost-effectiveness, high supplier reliability, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Supply Chain Alignment: Coordinate vendor performance management and procurement activities to ensure they perfectly sync with project schedules and business priorities.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor movements and industry trends to identify new growth areas and partnership opportunities that enhance our competitive edge.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, or related).
Advanced Education (Plus): MBA or a relevant Master’s degree is highly preferred.
Experience: 5–8 years in technical sales, business development, or procurement within the Oil & Gas or EPC sector.
Certifications: Professional certifications in Project Management (PMP), Procurement, or Sales are significant advantages.
Technical & Core Competencies
EPC Mastery: Strong understanding of EPC processes, procurement cycles, and complex contract structures (e.g., Lump Sum, EPCIC).
Technical Tools: Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Excel, and exposure to industry software like AutoCAD or Primavera P6.
Commercial Acumen: Exceptional negotiation skills and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding growth targets.
