Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber and strategic Business Manager to spearhead our market expansion and enrollee acquisition. In the competitive Nigerian healthcare landscape, success is defined by "Enrollment Velocity", the ability to design competitive health plans and secure large-scale corporate and government accounts. This role is designed for a "Strategic Growth Architect" with 7+ years of experience who can blend "Traditional Business Development" with "Digital Marketing Precision" while ensuring 100% compliance with NHIA guidelines.

Your mission is to ensure "Sustainable Revenue Growth and Brand Authority." You will be the primary engine of our business development: responsible for multi-segment marketing (SME, Retail, Corporate), product positioning, and stakeholder relationship management. If you possess "Negotiation Mastery," an MBA or relevant postgraduate degree, and a deep understanding of the health insurance ecosystem, we want you to drive our market leadership.

Requirements:

1. Marketing Strategy & Multi-Segment Execution

  • Strategic Architecture: Develop and deploy growth strategies tailored to the unique needs of Individual, Family, SME, and Corporate segments.

  • Integrated Campaigns: Plan and execute marketing initiatives across traditional and digital channels (SEO, Email, Social Media) to maximize brand visibility.

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive research to identify emerging trends, customer pain points, and competitor pricing to keep our products market-leading.

2. Business Development & Institutional Acquisition

  • Account Harvesting: Identify, pitch, and secure high-value corporate, retail, and government-related health insurance accounts.

  • Pipeline Governance: Manage the full sales lifecycle—from lead generation and product demonstrations to final contract closure and onboarding.

  • Proposal Excellence: Oversee the creation of technical proposals and marketing materials that clearly articulate the value of our HMO plans.

3. Product Positioning & Compliance Diplomacy

  • Product Engineering: Collaborate with Operations to design health plans with competitive pricing and benefits that align with current market demands.

  • Regulatory Sovereignty: Ensure all sales and marketing activities adhere strictly to NHIA (National Health Insurance Authority) regulations and ethical standards.

  • Churn Mitigation: Implement data-driven retention strategies to improve enrollee satisfaction and minimize account turnover.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Public Health, or related field. (MBA/Postgraduate degree is an added advantage).

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in Marketing or Business Development, specifically within the HMO, Healthcare, or Insurance sectors.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong grasp of the NHIA landscape and Nigerian health insurance laws.
