Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven and charismatic Business Development Officer to spearhead growth for our travel and tourism offerings in Abuja. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, cultivating valuable partnerships, securing corporate and individual accounts, and translating market insights into actionable sales strategies. Requirements:
Strategic Growth: Actively identify, pursue, and convert new business leads to expand our footprint in the FCT travel market.
Relationship Management: Build and nurture high-value relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and key stakeholders to ensure long-term loyalty.
Sales Advocacy: Lead dynamic presentations and networking initiatives to promote our travel services, from corporate retreats to leisure packages.
Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing research on travel trends, competitor activities, and destination demand to refine our sales approach.
Campaign Collaboration: Partner closely with the marketing team to design and execute high-impact promotional campaigns that drive bookings.
Performance Excellence: Consistently meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales and revenue KPIs.
Documentation: Draft professional proposals, business presentations, and service contracts tailored to meet the specific travel needs of prospective clients.
Client Experience: Deliver top-tier customer service by managing inquiries, providing expert travel advice, and ensuring seamless follow-up throughout the sales cycle.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of the Abuja business landscape.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
Proficiency in creating persuasive sales proposals and presentations.
