Job Description:
We are seeking a sophisticated and results-driven Business Development Officer (Female) to join our team in Ikoyi. This role is designed for a high-achiever who can bridge the gap between financial products and client needs. You will be responsible for identifying high-value opportunities, nurturing corporate relationships, and driving revenue growth within the competitive financial services landscape.
As a BDO, you will act as a strategic advisor, helping both individual and corporate clients navigate financial solutions while maintaining the premium service standards expected in the Ikoyi business district.
Requirements:
Strategic Growth & Lead Generation
Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to consistently increase company revenue and market share.
Lead Acquisition: Generate high-quality leads through proactive networking, strategic referrals, and deep-dive market research.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement client acquisition and retention strategies tailored to the financial sector.
Relationship Management & Advisory
Portfolio Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate entities and High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs).
Financial Advisory: Assess client financial profiles and recommend bespoke financial products and services that align with their goals.
Client Experience: Ensure a world-class service delivery experience, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Sales & Analytics
Negotiation: Lead high-level sales discussions and negotiations to close complex financial agreements.
Performance Tracking: Use analytical skills to monitor sales trends and provide reports on business development milestones.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 2–6 years of proven success in business development or sales.
Industry Background: Previous experience in a Financial Services Firm (Banking, Asset Management, or Insurance) is a significant advantage.
Core Skills:
Sales Mastery: Exceptional negotiation and "closing" abilities.
Communication: Refined oral and written communication skills suitable for C-suite engagement.
Technical Proficiency: Fluent in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel) for presentations and data tracking.
Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of financial markets.
Salary
