Job Description:
We are seeking a commercially elite and geographically agile Business Development Officer to anchor the revenue engine and commercial expansion of Winock Agro. In the high-stakes agro-commodity landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the velocity of the offtaker-relay and the precision of the supply-chain-filter success is defined by "Commercial Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize complex trading opportunities with the clinical precision required for Offtaker Acquisition, B2B Relationship Architecture, and Geographic Penetration. This role is designed as a "Market-Launchpad" a critical mission for an expert trader who can blend "Commercial Grit" (mastering the complexities of door-to-door B2B sales and commodity pricing) with the "Structural Agility" required to execute High-Fidelity Revenue Workflows.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Market Governance
Sovereignty of the Pipeline: Identify and secure reliable offtakers (hotels, restaurants, bulk buyers), acting as the primary "Source of Commercial Throughput."
Geographic Architecture: Execute market-growth strategies to expand Winock Agro’s footprint from Abuja into Lagos and Eastern Nigeria, providing the "Structural Foundation" for territorial scale.
Integrity Stewardship: Conduct rigorous market research on pricing and trends, ensuring the "Source of Institutional Intelligence" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Relationship Logic
Commercial Sovereignty: Drive door-to-door sales and direct B2B engagement, acting as the primary "Source of Offtaker Momentum."
Negotiation Architecture: Negotiate contracts and close deals within profitability targets, providing the "Functional Foundation" for reliable revenue flow.
Collaboration Stewardship: Integrate with internal supply-chain teams to ensure efficient delivery and high satisfaction, maintaining the "Source of Operational Continuity."
3. Operational Integrity & Performance Power
Engagement Sovereignty: Build and maintain long-term relationships with food service businesses and commercial stakeholders, acting as the primary "Source of Brand Loyalty."
Process Architecture: Utilize Sales-Tracking Toolkits to provide regular reports on performance and market insights, providing the "Relational Foundation" for data-driven decisions.
Velocity Logic: Utilize Agro-Trading expertise to accelerate the "Lead-to-Contract" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Commodity Commercialization Momentum."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Proven experience in agro-commodity trading, specifically within the Abuja, Lagos, or Eastern Nigerian markets.
Network: Strong, pre-existing network within the commercial sector (hotels, restaurants, catering services, food vendors).
Technical Power: Deep understanding of the Nigerian agro-supply chain and market dynamics.
Aptitude: Exceptional negotiation skills; a "Hunter" mindset with the ability to drive door-to-door sales independently.
Compensation: ₦200,000 per month (Net) + 1% Commission.
