Job Description:

Trinity Financial Services Limited, a CBN-licensed financial advisory and wealth management firm, is seeking a seasoned Head of Business Development. We are looking for a high-performing leader currently working within a commercial bank or top-tier financial institution to supervise our team and spearhead our marketing and revenue-growth initiatives. You will be responsible for defining our overall marketing strategy, overseeing high-impact campaigns, and ensuring our financial advisory services reach our target corporate and individual clients.

Requirements:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and business development strategies. Identify new market opportunities, lead Nigerian market analysis, and define KPIs for performance and ROI.

  • Credit & Risk Oversight: Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers, design credit scoring models, set loan interest rates, and manage loan approvals. Ensure all lending procedures comply with CBN regulations and maintain accurate records of debt and repayments.

  • Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of marketing professionals, fostering a data-driven, collaborative, and innovative culture.

  • Brand & Digital Marketing: Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity. Lead multi-channel marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, and social media, to drive customer acquisition.

  • Product & Lifecycle Marketing: Collaborate with product and sales teams to execute go-to-market strategies. Oversee customer segmentation and retention strategies to maximize customer lifetime value.

  • Budgeting & Reporting: Manage the marketing budget, allocate resources effectively, and provide data-driven reports and recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

  • Experience: 7+ years in marketing with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Industry Requirement: Must currently be working within a commercial bank, fintech, or financial services institution.

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrable success in leading multi-channel marketing campaigns, a strong marketing portfolio, and an established professional network within Nigeria.

  • Skills: Exceptional strategic marketing knowledge, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Professionalism: A certification or professional license in a relevant field is highly preferred.
