Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber Business Development Manager who treats sales as a strategic consulting practice. You will be selling a critical business infrastructure—payroll and compliance—to Founders, HR leaders, and Finance teams. This is not a "nice-to-have" product; you are solving fundamental business pains. We need someone who can speak the language of profit and loss, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency to close high-quality enterprise deals.
Requirements:
Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Manage the entire pipeline, from high-level prospecting and deep-discovery demos to negotiation and final contract closure.
Strategic Engagement: Initiate high-value conversations with key decision-makers (Founders, CFOs, HR Directors). You must be able to translate complex compliance regulations into clear, compelling business benefits.
Consultative Selling: Move beyond transactional pitching. Position our solution as an essential component of business infrastructure that ensures stability, legal adherence, and financial accuracy.
CRM & Pipeline Discipline: Maintain a structured, disciplined pipeline. Use CRM tools to manage your activity, track deal progression, and provide accurate revenue forecasting.
Market Feedback Loop: Work closely with our Product and Marketing teams to refine our messaging based on what you hear on the ground, ensuring our offering continues to resonate with market needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
Communication: Exceptional ability to simplify complex financial and regulatory concepts into clear, concise business value propositions.
Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to engage with C-level stakeholders and finance/HR leaders in a consultative manner.
Discipline: A structured, results-driven approach to sales. You don't just "hit the phones"; you manage a strategy.
Industry Aptitude: A strong grasp of business operations, financial processes, or payroll/HR workflows is highly preferred.
Experience: Demonstrated track record of closing B2B deals, particularly in SaaS, FinTech, or professional services.
