Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and intellectually elite Business Development Manager to anchor our remote project engine. In the global gig economy, success is defined by "Arbitrage Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize high-volume U.S.-based project sourcing with the clinical precision required for closing complex contracts and overseeing distributed team execution. This role is designed for a "Marketplace Architect" with 3+ years of experience who can blend "Sales Grit" (navigating Upwork, Fiverr, and TaskRabbit) with the "Operational Agility" required to maintain a ₦1,000,000+/month revenue velocity.
Requirements:
1. Marketplace Orchestration & Lead Governance
Sourcing Sovereignty: Proactively hunt for U.S.-based freelance and remote contract projects across elite platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, etc.), acting as the primary "Source of Opportunity."
Pitch Architecture: Develop and present powerful, high-conversion business propositions to international prospects, ensuring our services are viewed as a "Source of Value."
Pipeline Logic: Build and manage a robust, high-fidelity pipeline of remote projects, ensuring a consistent and scalable "Monthly Project Volume."
2. Operations Resilience & Delivery Logic
Resource Stewardship: Assign projects synchronously to the most capable distributed team members, acting as the "Orchestrator of Talent" to ensure project-market fit.
Timeline Architecture: Coordinate project scopes and deliverables with clinical precision, ensuring all milestones act as a "Source of Reliability" for the client.
Quality Sovereignty: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control across all deliverables, ensuring projects are completed "On Time, On Budget, and On Specification."
3. Relationship Diplomacy & Fiscal Grit
Client Stewardship: Handle all high-stakes client communications during project execution, maintaining "Elite Satisfaction Levels" and driving repeat business.
Revenue Sovereignty: Own the full "Revenue Lifecycle"—from initial bid to final payout—achieving 100% of monthly financial targets.
Performance Intelligence: Prepare and track project success metrics, providing management with "Intelligence-Driven" reports on profitability and team performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of a BA / BSc / HND, while an MBA / MSc is a significant strategic advantage.
Experience: At least 3 years of robust experience in Business Development, Sales, or Agency work.
Platform Mastery: Proven track record of winning work on Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, or similar ecosystems.
