We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and market expansion across Lagos Mainland and Island.
  • You will identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and manage relationships with key clients and stakeholders to increase user adoption of company'sproducts and services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, partnerships, and channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, agents, partners, and corporate clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals to expand the company’s market presence.
  • Support product teams with feedback and market insights to improve offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations.
  • Achieve and exceed set sales and business development targets.
  • Provide regular reports on pipeline activity, market trends, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, compliance, and operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in fintech, banking, payments, or financial services.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Solid understanding of financial services, digital payments, and fintech products.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be available to work onsite across Lagos Mainland and Island.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with mobile money, agency banking, or digital wallets.
  • Familiarity with the Nigerian financial services landscape and regulatory environment.
  • Existing network of corporate partners, merchants, or agents.
