Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber, results-driven Business Development Manager to lead market growth and strategic partnerships for our dual-purpose Telemedicine and Learning Management System (LMS) platform. This is a pivotal role requiring a professional who can navigate the intersection of digital health and healthcare education. You will be responsible for positioning our solutions to hospitals, healthcare practitioners, and corporate institutions, ensuring that our platform becomes the standard for remote care and medical training across Africa.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep "hunter" instinct for new revenue while maintaining the strategic sophistication required to manage complex institutional partnerships.
Requirements:
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Strategic Execution: Develop and implement aggressive business development strategies to capture market share in the digital health and e-learning sectors.
Sales Pipeline: Generate, qualify, and convert high-value leads into long-term paying customers through rigorous CRM management.
High-Stakes Pitching: Lead professional product demonstrations and business pitches to C-suite executives and healthcare administrators.
Deal Closing: Navigate complex commercial negotiations to secure favorable terms and close significant institutional deals.
Strategic Partnership Management
Ecosystem Building: Identify and secure strategic alliances with insurers, training organizations, healthcare institutions, and corporate bodies.
Relationship Stewardship: Manage and nurture partner relationships to ensure long-term value, integration, and mutual growth.
Expansion Support: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify target segments and support entry into new African markets.
Customer Acquisition & Stakeholder Engagement
Lifecycle Management: Drive the onboarding process for new accounts and collaborate with internal teams to enhance the customer experience and boost retention rates.
Market Representation: Act as the primary brand ambassador at industry conferences, networking events, and high-level stakeholder meetings in the healthcare and education sectors.
Performance Reporting: Maintain a data-driven approach by preparing periodic reports on sales pipelines, revenue performance, and partnership progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of proven success in business development, sales, or partnerships.
Sector Expertise: Previous experience in Health-Tech, SaaS, Telemedicine, or Ed-Tech is a distinct advantage.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho CRM.
Strong ability to conduct data-driven market research and analysis
