Job Description:
As our Business Development Manager, you will be the engine behind our revenue growth and student acquisition. You will be responsible for identifying lucrative market opportunities, building strategic B2B partnerships, and converting leads into successful tech learners. This is a high-impact role perfect for a strategist who excels at closing deals and driving institutional expansion in the digital skills sector.
Requirements:
Revenue & Growth Strategy
Develop and execute aggressive strategies to boost student enrollment and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Identify and scale new income streams, including corporate training packages, specialized certifications, and high-demand online programs.
Partnership & B2B Development
Cultivate and manage high-level partnerships with corporate organizations, academic institutions, government bodies, and NGOs.
Lead the full sales cycle—from pitching customized ICT training solutions to negotiating and closing high-value contracts.
Student Acquisition & Marketing Collaboration
Partner with our marketing team to optimize lead generation campaigns across social media, events, and referral networks.
Execute effective outreach initiatives, including tech bootcamps, webinars, and career seminars to convert prospects into active students.
Market Research & Positioning
Stay ahead of the curve in the ICT sector (Data Analysis, AI, Cybersecurity, Software Development).
Analyze competitive landscapes and pricing models to recommend innovative program offerings that meet market demands.
Brand Visibility & Performance Tracking
Serve as a brand ambassador at industry conferences, tech events, and career fairs.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including conversion rates and overall revenue growth, to ensure operational excellence.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, ICT, or a related discipline.
Experience: 3–7 years of proven experience in business development with a track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets.
Sales Acumen: Exceptional negotiation, pitching, and closing skills.
ICT Market Knowledge: A solid grasp of current digital skills trends and the educational landscape.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, networking, and strategic thinking capabilities, paired with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
