Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead our growth efforts in Ibadan. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end business development lifecycle from identifying untapped market opportunities and conducting rigorous research to negotiating high-value deals and nurturing long-term stakeholder relationships. This is a high-impact position that requires a professional who can blend analytical strategic planning with the interpersonal "grace" needed to manage corporate partnerships.

Requirements:

Strategic Growth & Market Expansion

  • Opportunity Identification: Actively identify and pursue new business avenues and revenue streams to expand the company’s market footprint.

  • Strategy Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies aligned with the organization's long-term objectives.

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify service gaps.

Partnership & Relationship Management

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with corporate clients, external stakeholders, and strategic partners.

  • Corporate Partnerships: Identify and secure high-value partnerships that drive mutual growth and enhance brand positioning.

  • Client Retention: Oversee client relationship management to ensure high levels of satisfaction and recurring business.

Sales Intelligence & Negotiation

  • Deal Closing: Utilize strong negotiation skills to finalize commercial agreements and secure favorable terms for the organization.

  • Pipeline Management: Use CRM tools and business analytics software to track the sales pipeline, analyze performance metrics, and optimize conversion rates.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure that business development efforts are synchronized with operational capabilities and product delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • Proven experience in Sales, Client Relationship Management, or Corporate Partnerships.

    • Added Advantage: Direct experience in Health-Tech or a related technology-driven field.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and business analytics software.

    • Strong background in strategic planning and market research methodologies.
