We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • Best Practices Limited is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and identify new strategic opportunities across our business operations.
  • The ideal candidate will lead the sales and marketing function, develop strategic partnerships, and drive client acquisition across key sectors such as transportation, logistics, oil & gas, and technology-enabled fleet management.
  • This role plays a critical role in positioning the company as a leader in fleet management and telematics solutions in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development:

  • Identify new business opportunities within the logistics, transport, and technology sectors.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover emerging trends and potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking, lead generation, and strategic outreach.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored client solutions.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

  • Oversee Sales & Marketing to achieve revenue targets.
  • Develop sales strategies and business proposals.
  • Manage sales pipeline and deal tracking through CRM platforms.
  • Drive marketing campaigns, digital visibility, and client engagement initiatives.

Partnerships & Client Relationship Management:

  • Build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts, proposals, and partnership agreements.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking platforms.
  • Ensure seamless transition from sales acquisition to client onboarding.

Strategic Planning & Reporting:

  • Provide regular reports on pipeline performance, revenue forecasts, and growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to company growth strategies and annual business planning.
  • Identify innovative approaches to strengthen market positioning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2– 4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales Management, or Market Expansion.
  • Proven experience driving revenue growth in competitive industries.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, oil & gas, or technology sectors is an advantage.
  • Experience managing a sales team is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of fleet management or telematics solutions is an added advantage.
