Job Description:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with company's strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential customers.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, pitches, and presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts and close profitable deals with clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, marketing) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Achieve and exceed set sales targets and KPIs.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions.
  • Provide regular reports and forecasts on sales activities and performance.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry developments, products, and services.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Number of new accounts acquired.
  • Client retention and satisfaction levels.
  • Value of deals closed within defined timeframes

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
  • 4–5years’ proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, negotiation, and deal-closing techniques.
  • Experience in [insert industry, e.g., logistics, healthcare, tech] is an added advantage.

Salary

N200,000 - N300,000 / month.
