We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Business Development Executive to support our efforts in launching new products in the Nigerian market.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed market research, identifying potential customers, and assisting in the initial sales and outreach of new products.
  • This role requires a blend of technical insight and commercial acumen, with a strong understanding of the Nigerian business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research for new product opportunities across Plastics industry.
  • Analyze competitor products, pricing, and customer needs to identify market gaps.
  • Assist in developing go-to-market strategies for product launches.
  • Collaborate with the HOD -Business Development in executing Development plans for new products.
  • Identify and establish contact with potential customers, initiate discussions, and assist in building long-term relationships.
  • Prepare and present product briefs, sales pitches, and technical presentations to clients.
  • Track and report market trends, customer feedback, and product performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (technical, production, and sales) to ensure alignment on customer needs and product development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science or engineering is preferred but any other streams with strong experience in Business development/ Product development can also be considered.
  • Proven experience in product development, market research, or technical sales preferably in Plastics products.
  • Sound technical and commercial understanding of industrial products.
  • Strong familiarity with the Nigerian market, customer behavior, and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Experience:

  • 3+ years in a business development, technical sales, or product research role (Plastic industry)
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, B2B and B2C environments will be an advantage.

Salary

N300,000 monthly net
