We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
- We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Business Development Executive to support our efforts in launching new products in the Nigerian market.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed market research, identifying potential customers, and assisting in the initial sales and outreach of new products.
- This role requires a blend of technical insight and commercial acumen, with a strong understanding of the Nigerian business environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research for new product opportunities across Plastics industry.
- Analyze competitor products, pricing, and customer needs to identify market gaps.
- Assist in developing go-to-market strategies for product launches.
- Collaborate with the HOD -Business Development in executing Development plans for new products.
- Identify and establish contact with potential customers, initiate discussions, and assist in building long-term relationships.
- Prepare and present product briefs, sales pitches, and technical presentations to clients.
- Track and report market trends, customer feedback, and product performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (technical, production, and sales) to ensure alignment on customer needs and product development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in science or engineering is preferred but any other streams with strong experience in Business development/ Product development can also be considered.
- Proven experience in product development, market research, or technical sales preferably in Plastics products.
- Sound technical and commercial understanding of industrial products.
- Strong familiarity with the Nigerian market, customer behavior, and industry dynamics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Preferred Experience:
- 3+ years in a business development, technical sales, or product research role (Plastic industry)
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, B2B and B2C environments will be an advantage.
Salary
