Job Description:

AIICO Insurance is seeking a high-caliber Branch Operations Manager / Strategy Support Executive to spearhead the optimization of our branch network. This dual-focus role requires a blend of operational excellence and strategic foresight. You will be responsible for ensuring that daily branch activities are efficient and compliant while simultaneously acting as a key contributor to corporate strategy development, financial modeling, and cross-functional coordination.

The ideal candidate is a certified professional with a "Chief Liaison" mindset, capable of translating complex performance metrics into actionable growth strategies.

Requirements:

Operational Oversight & Coordination

• Chief Liaison: Serve as the primary coordinator between branch operations, centralized functions, and Strategic Business Units (SBUs) to drive systemic efficiency.

• Workspace Standardization: Partner with Digital Marketing and Communications to ensure a consistent, premium brand experience and workspace standard across all business locations.

• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks within the branch ecosystem, ensuring full alignment with corporate policies and industry regulations.

Performance Management & Human Capital

• Metric Analysis: Analyze branch performance metrics and financial targets, producing detailed reports for senior management that highlight areas for improvement.

• Talent Development: Collaborate with Human Capital to execute performance evaluations, deliver feedback, and implement training programs that elevate the skills of branch staff.

• Capacity Support: Step in to fill capacity gaps during transitions to ensure organizational goals remain on track.

Strategy Support & Financial Analysis

• Strategic Initiatives: Support the development of business models and initiatives designed to drive organizational growth and competitive advantage.

• Advanced Analytics: Perform rigorous financial analysis, including cost-benefit assessments and ROI calculations for strategic investments, mergers, and acquisitions.

• Executive Communication: Develop comprehensive presentations for senior leadership, translating market research and data into high-level strategic recommendations.

• Facilitation: Lead meetings, workshops, and strategic discussions to ensure clarity of objectives and the definition of actionable outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

  • A Master’s degree (MBA or similar) is a significant plus.

• Experience:

  • 5–7 years of experience in branch operations management, ideally within the Insurance industry.

  • Proven track record of hitting performance targets and successfully managing diverse teams.

• Certification: Professional certification is mandatory (e.g., CIIN, ACII, or relevant management certifications).

• Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of insurance products, services, and the Nigerian regulatory landscape.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, ROI calculations, and data-driven reporting.
