Job Description:

We are seeking a results-oriented and strategic Branch Manager to lead our branch operations. The Branch Manager will be responsible for the overall management and profitability of the branch, driving business growth, ensuring operational efficiency, managing staff performance, and delivering excellent customer service in line with our bank's strategic objectives and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will also oversee loan portfolio quality, deposit mobilization, and risk management at the branch level.

Requirements:

• Operations Management: Oversee daily branch operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

• Business Growth: Drive deposit mobilization and loan portfolio growth in line with set targets.

• Customer Experience: Ensure high-quality customer service and timely resolution of customer complaints.

• Team Leadership: Supervise branch staff and ensure optimal performance across all functions.

• Credit Administration: Monitor loan applications, approvals, disbursements, and recoveries.

• Compliance & Audit: Ensure strict compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.

• Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate, periodic operational and financial reports.

• Risk Mitigation: Manage branch risk, including credit risk and operational risk controls.

• Strategy: Develop and implement innovative strategies to grow branch profitability.

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers and local stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CIBN, ICAN, ACCA) are an added advantage.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of banking experience.

  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or branch leadership role within a microfinance or commercial bank.
