Job Description:

As a Batching Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient operation and monitoring of our concrete batching plant. You will ensure that all concrete produced strictly adheres to approved mix designs and project specifications, supporting the timely delivery of high-quality construction materials.

Requirements:

• Production Excellence: Operate and control the batching plant to produce concrete in precise accordance with specified mix designs.

• Operational Monitoring: Continuously monitor plant equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.

• Quality & Precision: Oversee the accurate measurement and batching of cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures.

• Collaboration: Coordinate directly with Quality Control personnel to ensure all output meets rigorous industry standards.

• Maintenance & Safety: Conduct routine inspections, report faults promptly, assist in servicing/repairs, and strictly adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

• Documentation: Maintain meticulous daily logs for production output, material consumption, and equipment performance.

• Site Upkeep: Ensure consistent housekeeping and cleanliness of the batching plant area.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of OND, Trade Test, or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field.

• Experience: At least 10 years of professional experience operating a concrete batching plant.

• Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge of concrete production processes, batching software, and automated systems.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex concrete mix designs and production schedules.

• Maintenance: Proficiency in basic plant maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight project deadlines.
