We are seeking a results-driven B2B Sales & Marketing Manager with deep experience selling to manufacturers and processors who use palm oil as a raw material.
Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber B2B Sales Manager specialized in the Palm Oil sector to drive large-volume contract acquisitions across Nigeria and West Africa. In this strategic role, you will target industrial buyers in the FMCG, cosmetics, food processing, and chemical sectors. You will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle from identifying high-value prospects to negotiating long-term supply agreements and managing key accounts with industry giants. The ideal candidate is a data-driven closer with a deep understanding of agro-commodity dynamics and an existing network of procurement leaders.
Requirements:
Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and implement B2B strategies targeting industrial manufacturers in the soap, detergent, biodiesel, and food sectors.
Key Account Management: Build and nurture high-level relationships with procurement heads, plant managers, and C-suite executives at major manufacturing firms.
Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for high-volume, long-term supply deals, ensuring favorable terms and strict adherence to quality specifications.
Market Intelligence: Monitor global and local pricing trends, import dynamics, and regulatory changes to maintain a competitive edge.
Pipeline Development: Drive lead generation through outbound sales, industry expos, and professional networking to open new market territories.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with logistics and production teams to ensure supply commitments and delivery timelines are met consistently.
Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market share analysis to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: B.Sc/HND in Marketing, Business, Agriculture, or Food Technology. An MBA is considered a significant advantage.
Experience: 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 4 years specifically in commodities, edible oils, or industrial raw materials.
Industry Network: A proven track record of selling to manufacturers (e.g., Nestlé, Unilever, PZ, Beloxxi) is highly desired.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of palm oil grades, RSPO standards, industrial applications, and bulk logistics.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze demand cycles, market pricing, and prepare sophisticated commercial proposals.
Mobility: Willingness to travel across Nigeria and West Africa for site visits and client meetings.
