Job Description:
We are seeking an Aviation Dispatcher III, a seasoned Aviation Dispatch Expert to oversee the complex operational requirements of our fixed-wing and helicopter flight services. In this senior-level role, you will not only manage the end-to-end dispatch and pre-flight processes but will also serve as a mentor and supervisor to junior staff. You are expected to bring extensive industry experience to ensure the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency for both passenger and freight transitions.
Requirements:
Pre-Flight & Weather Logistics: Analyze and interpret complex weather reports for departure, destination, and alternative routes to provide critical safety data to flight crews.
Manifest & Passenger Management: Utilize the Personnel Tracking System (PTS) to manage daily manifests. Oversee the entire check-in process, including priority allocation, passenger identification, indemnity documentation, and boarding pass issuance.
Weight & Balance Expertise: Execute precise load planning, including the preparation of out-flown manifests and weight and balance sheets to ensure safe aircraft operations.
Communication & Briefing: Act as the final link between ground operations and the cockpit. Provide comprehensive briefings to Pilots, ensuring they are fully informed before departure.
Flight Lifecycle Management: Coordinate the seamless inflow and outflow of aircraft, utilizing radio room data to track flight progress through PTS and ensuring accurate reporting post-flight.
Supervisory Oversight: Lead by example. You will supervise team members, ensuring that all dispatch operations meet the company’s internal standards and external aviation regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or higher (MBA/MSc/MA is a plus).
Experience: 15–20 years of experience in a closely related aviation role. You must be an expert in the field with a track record of handling high-stakes aviation operations.
Expertise: Extensive knowledge of aviation operations, flight regulations, and economy of operations.
Key Competencies:
Decision-Making: Proven ability to make sound, rapid decisions under extreme pressure regarding safety and flight logistics.
Leadership: Demonstrated experience supervising others and managing complex technical teams.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of aviation safety protocols and flight dispatch compliance.
