Job Description:
- Install and configure automated machinery and control systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automation equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs, HMIs, and sensors.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Document maintenance activities and system modifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide technical support during equipment upgrades and installations.
- Monitor system performance and propose improvements.
- Train operators and/or other colleagues on automated systems
- Participates in problem-solving and plant performance improvement activities.
- Perform mandatory quality testing/checks and complete all related documentation
Requirements:
- Holder of an HND / BSc Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience within the confectionery industry.
- Level 3 PVM Safety Awareness knowledge.
- Basic awareness of Good Manufacturing rules in a Food processing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Passionate about supporting equipment reliability KPIs.
- Good housekeeping practices (GHK) and a plant discipline mindset
- Proven strong work ethic, accountability, and ownership of assigned tasks
- Excellent teamwork attitude.
- Prepared to work on Shift rotation.
