Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc was incorporated in September 1960 as a private limited liability company, and commenced operations in 1962 with an installed capacity of 600 metric tons per day. Job Description:

• Diagnose electrical issues in vehicles and equipment using appropriate testing devices.
• Install and repair wiring, lighting systems, ignition systems, alternators, and starters.
• Inspect and test electrical components such as circuits, sensors, and batteries.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vehicle electrical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Maintain records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
• Support other workshop team members in general repair and maintenance activities.
• Report major faults, safety risks, or equipment failures to the Workshop Supervisor promptly.
• Keep tools and equipment in good working condition and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements:

• Have sound knowledge of automotive electrical systems, components, and diagnostics.
• Be skilled in the installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring, lighting, and electronic control units.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Possess good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in identifying faults accurately.
• Be able to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings/Technical qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years’ cognate experience.
