About Company:

Sunplast is a leading plastic manufacturing company in Nigeria with almost 30 years experience in the plastic manufacturing industry. Sun Group entered into the Plastics industry through the acquisition of a plant in Sango Ota, Ogun State in 1991. A second plant was installed and commissioned in 2000 in Lagos. In 2015 both plants were merged under one roof in Ogun State. The plants, which operate under the names Bright Products Limited and Sunplast Industries Limited, are equipped with top-of-the-line injection molding machines from China, India and Taiwan.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analyticalAudit Executiveto support internal audit activities, ensure compliance with financial and operational procedures, and help strengthen internal controls within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
• Review accounting records, financial statements, and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Identify control weaknesses, process gaps, and areas of financial risk.
• Prepare audit reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Follow up on audit findings to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Assist in developing and improving internal control systems.
• Support external auditors during annual audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 2–5 years of relevant experience in audit, accounting, or finance.
• Professional certification or progress towards ICAN, ACCA, or ACA will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/audit software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational ability.
