ASSISTANT SHIFT MANAGER AT FLOUR MILLS OF NIGERIA PLC

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• To provide oversight for all shift operations in the and ensure that movement of materials from one location to another is efficiently carried out.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure wheat transfer from silos to the mills to meet production requirement
• Liaise with maintenance team, ABTL etc. to ensure prompt resolution of any operational breakdown.
• Ensure reception of wheat/SBM from vessel/trucks
• Ensure loading of pellet/SBM from silos to vessel
• Guide and mentor the shift team with respect to safety, problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Ensure inventory is stored appropriately to ensure safety and quality standards
• Ensure all operational records and reports are correctly entered and submitted. in the areas of safety,
• Oversees all departmental operations in the night, weekends and public holidays by implementing instructions laid down.
• Perform other project or ad-hoc duties as directed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in production and milling.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate effectively across all levels.
• Be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Possess strong organizational and leadership ability.
