Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Assistant Salesman to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily distribution operations, ensuring that our products reach our customers efficiently and in perfect condition. This is an active, hands-on position perfect for someone who is dependable, physically fit, and takes pride in providing excellent service.

Requirements:

• Product Delivery: Assist in the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of products to our customers.

• Logistics & Distribution: Safely operate manual transmission vehicles to transport goods. Ensure that all loading and unloading activities are conducted with care.

• Merchandising: Assist with product placement and stock arrangement to ensure our goods are displayed according to company standards.

• Stock Handling: Manage inventory records during delivery routes, ensuring that quantities delivered match the documentation accurately.

• Customer Service: Act as a representative of the company during client interactions, handling inquiries professionally and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Operations Support: Support the sales team in maintaining accurate records and ensuring the vehicle is clean and properly maintained.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of SSCE, WAEC, or NECO.

• Experience: Previous experience in the FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution sector is an added advantage.

• Driving Credentials: * Must possess a valid Driver’s License.

  • Must possess a valid LASDRI card.

  • Ability to drive and operate manual transmission vehicles.

• Physical Aptitude: Must be physically fit and capable of performing manual loading and unloading tasks.

• Core Skills:

  • Numeracy & Literacy: Ability to read delivery manifests, write simple reports, and perform basic calculations.

  • Reliability: A high degree of honesty, punctuality, and accountability.

  • Teamwork: Ability to communicate well and work effectively as part of a distribution crew.
