Job Description:

Are you a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record of driving revenue and mentoring high-performing teams? We are seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to oversee regional sales operations across our key territories. This role is designed for a dynamic professional who can balance strategic planning with hands-on field supervision.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience, preferably from a multinational environment—to motivate our sales force, optimize daily operations, and ensure our targets are not just met, but exceeded.

Requirements:

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Mentorship & Motivation: Guide and supervise the sales team, implementing incentive structures to drive high performance and exceed individual and team KPIs.

  • Performance Auditing: Monitor daily sales activities, conducting regular performance evaluations and one-on-one check-ins to address conflicts or performance gaps.

  • Conflict Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for resolving internal team disputes and maintaining a positive, results-oriented work culture.

Sales Operations & Coordination

  • Operational Oversight: Coordinate day-to-day activities, including staff scheduling and ensuring optimal floor/field coverage to maximize customer reach.

  • Strategy Execution: Work with the Sales Manager to implement regional sales playbooks and market penetration strategies.

  • Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly reports on team performance, market trends, and competitive dynamics.

Field Engagement

  • Territory Coverage: Utilize driving skills to visit various locations within the assigned region (Abia, Abuja, Anambra, Enugu, or Imo) to ensure compliance with brand standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, or a related field. An MBA or Master’s degree is a significant advantage.

  • Experience: 5–10 years of cognitive experience in a similar sales leadership role. Experience within a multinational corporation is highly preferred.

  • Technical Skills: * Advanced proficiency in Sales Reporting and CRM tools.

    • Strong understanding of Revenue Management and Market Analytics.

  • Essential Asset: Must have valid driving experience and be willing to travel within the assigned territory.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.

    • Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.

    • Ability to work under pressure in a target-driven environment.

Salary

N200,000 - N300,000 / Month.
