Job Description:

  • Our Drilling Services AMO Team is assembling and testing the latest products of drilling equipment which is beating heart of our work.
  • We collaborate with our service delivery teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative drilling tools.
  • The role is responsible for maintenance, assembly and manufacturing.
  • You will provide specialist support in a variety of technical duties to support the maintenance and reliability initiatives of the organization.
  • You will work on a range of Drilling & Evaluation down-hole tools and surface instrumentation within the limit of proven competence.

 

Key Responsibilities
As AMO Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists and follow formal procedures and mainteance practices.
  • Assisting with activities to ensure repairs, scheduled and preventive maintenance on factory equipment are completed on-time and safely.
  • Performing quality assurance activities required by manufacturing or engineering specifications and ISO requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting knowledge.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have diploma or any relevant degree
  • Have 1+ years maintenance related experience in electro-mechanical drilling function
  • Have previous experience with Baker Hughes (preferred)
  • Display an advanced mechanical aptitude and experience with general hand tools and precision measuring equipment
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify problems and be able to develop solutions
