Requirements:

Design & Creative Development

  • Concept to Reality: Lead the architectural design process, developing innovative concepts, schematic designs, and detailed 3D visualizations.

  • Functional Design: Translate client briefs into functional, aesthetically sound, and high-impact designs that align with company standards and project objectives.

Technical Documentation & Coordination

  • Precision: Produce accurate working drawings, construction details, and comprehensive specifications.

  • Compliance: Ensure all design documentation is complete and strictly adheres to building codes, safety regulations, and relevant statutory requirements.

  • Consultant Liaison: Collaborate effectively with structural and MEP consultants to ensure seamless integration of engineering systems.

Project Execution & Site Oversight

  • Site Engagement: Actively participate in site visits and inspections to monitor progress.

  • Design Intent: Ensure that on-site construction remains true to the original design intent, proactively resolving design-related issues as they arise in the field.

  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

Client & Team Collaboration

  • Professional Engagement: Lead client meetings, present design proposals, and skillfully incorporate feedback into revisions.

  • Studio Culture: Contribute to a structured and efficient studio workflow, supporting internal teams and providing mentorship to junior architects and interns as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent). A Master’s Degree is considered an added advantage.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Technical Mastery:

    • Advanced proficiency in design and visualization software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, etc.).

    • Strong understanding of construction methods, material properties, and building science.

    • Knowledge of Nigerian building regulations is highly preferred.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Creativity & Technicality: You are equally comfortable with artistic design and technical accuracy.

    • Detail-Oriented: You have a meticulous approach to documentation and execution.

    • Disciplined Execution: You thrive in an environment that demands structure, meeting deadlines, and high-level accountability.

    • Problem-Solver: You are proactive in identifying and resolving design issues before they impact the project schedule.

Salary

₦300,000 - ₦400,000/month
