Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary and technically grounded Project Architect to lead the design and execution of premium residential and commercial developments across Lagos's most prestigious corridors. This role is designed for an architect who can balance avant-garde aesthetics with the structural and regulatory rigors of the Nigerian real estate sector.

You will act as the primary design authority, translating client visions into detailed, buildable blueprints while navigating the complexities of site management and interdisciplinary coordination. If you have 4–5 years of experience in high-end real estate and a mastery of modern BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools, this is your opportunity to shape the skyline of Lagos.

Requirements:

1. Design Innovation & Technical Documentation

• Concept Development: Architecting innovative residential and commercial designs that align with the luxury standards of Ikoyi and Victoria Island environments.

• Technical Drafting: Preparing comprehensive architectural drawings, detailed sections, and technical specifications that guide the construction process from foundation to finish.

• BIM Management: Utilizing Revit and AutoCAD to create integrated models that minimize design conflicts and optimize material usage.

2. Multidisciplinary Coordination & Site Oversight

• Engineering Synergy: Working in lockstep with Structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors (QS) to ensure design feasibility and cost-efficiency.

• Site Supervision: Conducting regular site inspections to ensure that construction aligns perfectly with architectural drawings and quality benchmarks.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all designs strictly adhere to LASBCA (Lagos State Building Control Agency) regulations and local zoning laws.

3. Aesthetic & Functional Excellence

• Visualization: Creating high-fidelity 3D renders using SketchUp, V-Ray, or Lumion to communicate design intent to stakeholders and clients.

• Material Selection: Specifying high-quality finishes and materials that meet both the aesthetic desires of the luxury market and the environmental demands of coastal Lagos.

• Project Lifecycle Support: Providing architectural support during the tendering process and throughout the construction phase to resolve unforeseen site challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: B.Sc or M.Sc in Architecture from a recognized institution.

• Experience: Minimum of 4–5 years of professional experience, specifically within real estate development or high-end residential firms.

• Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Strong skills in SketchUp and rendering software are highly valued.

Core Competencies

• Technical Precision: An obsession with detail in construction drawings and specifications.

• Collaborative Leadership: Proven ability to lead site teams and coordinate with diverse engineering consultants.

• Urban Context: A deep understanding of the architectural trends and regulatory landscape of Lekki, Ikoyi, and VI.
