Job Description:

The APM Terminals Graduate Trainee Programme is designed to attract, develop, and retain Nigeria’s brightest young talents who are passionate about building a world-class career in the logistics and maritime industry.
This structured 12- to 18-month programme provides participants with hands-on experience, professional development, and cross-functional exposure to key areas of terminal operations, engineering, finance, commercial, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in intensive on-the-job training and departmental rotations across APM Terminals’ operations.

• Support operational, commercial, and administrative teams in executing daily business activities.

• Contribute to business improvement projects and process optimization initiatives.

• Demonstrate learning agility, problem-solving ability, and collaboration in team environments.

• Uphold APM Terminals’ values on safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.

• Attend and complete all mandatory training modules, workshops, and performance evaluations.

Requirements:

Eligibility Criteria

• A Bachelor’s degree (minimum of Second Class Lower) or HND (Upper Credit) from a recognized university or polytechnic.

• Must have completed NYSC with a valid discharge certificate.

• Not more than 26 years old at the time of application.

• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital tools.

• High level of integrity, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.

• Must be legally eligible to work in Nigeria.
