ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER AT SUNCHI INTEGRATED FARMS LIMITED

Sunchi Integrated Farms is a 32 year old vision, etched in the visionary mind of leading industrialist Chief Sunday Ephraim Ezeobiora, 21 years later (in 2009) the vision was to become a reality with the establishment of physical infrastructure of what is known and seen today as the expansive SUNCHI INTEGRATED FARMS EMENE, ENUGU, a well-known Agri-brand with commercial focus on breeder stock, hatchery development (Day Old Chicks production), broilers rearing, feed milling/food processing as well soya oil refining. 

Job Description:

• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording of accounts payables data.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Ensure that financial records comply with the International Financial reporting standard (IFRS)
• Assists in providing financial support and insights to enable the company to make sound business decisions
• Review and monitor of operation expenses.
• Handles tax matters, tax planning and other regulatory compliance
• Handles bank reconciliations and reports findings to the Head of Accounts.
• Oversee Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions.
• Manage relationships with regulatory and statutory bodies, i.e. EIRS, FIRS, etc
• Ensure tax and other regulatory requirements are complied with.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office and good in at least one accounting software.
• Good knowledge of poultry business is an added advantage.
• Must be conversant with relevant tax law and principles in Nigeria
• Ability to work independently without supervision.

Qualifications and Skills:

• BSC/HND in Accounting
• Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA) or partly qualified
• Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
