Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Aba. In this role, you will oversee all financial and accounting functions for our pure water production and distribution business, ensuring operational efficiency, rigorous cost control, and strict compliance with statutory requirements.

Requirements:

• Financial Operations: Manage daily accounting workflows, reconcile sales, cash deposits, and bank transactions.

• Inventory & Cost Control: Track raw materials (nylon, treatment chemicals, labels) and production costs to minimize waste and ensure accountability.

• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to support management decision-making, including budgeting and profitability analysis.

• Accounts Receivable & Payable: Manage supplier invoice verification and monitor payments from distributors and vendors.

• Compliance & Controls: Implement robust internal controls to prevent leakage, manage payroll, ensure tax compliance, and assist with external audits.

• Team Leadership: Supervise junior accounting and cashier staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Accounting or a related field.

• Experience: 2–10 years of proven experience in Accounting and Warehouse management (salary will be commensurate with experience).

• Digital Proficiency: Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with collaborative tools (Teams, WhatsApp, Zoom).

• Location: Must reside in Aba.
