Job Description:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and other financial transactions regularly.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including preparation of schedules and summaries.
- Assist in budget preparation, expense tracking, and financial analysis as required.
- Verify the accuracy of financial data and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare and file tax documents, statutory returns, and regulatory reports under supervision.
- Maintain organized financial filing systems (physical and electronic) for easy retrieval and audits.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of finance beyond bookkeeping (cashflow management, budgeting, vendor payments, reconciliations, cost control)
- Ability to give practical financial guidance (similar to a financial advisor level)
- Ability to prepare simple management reports
- High integrity, ethics, and confidentiality
- Strong Excel, MS Office, and accounting tools experience
- Ability to work closely with procurement, operations, and management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accountant / Finance Assistant role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- ICAN qualification (full or ongoing)
Salary
