We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about contributing to the financial health and operational efficiency of a dynamic logistics company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions.
• Prepare budget forecasts.
• Publish financial statements in time.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely bank payments.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
• Audit financial transactions and documents.
• Strengthen internal controls.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree.
• Relevant certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Zoho accounting and Quickbooks)
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
