Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our filling station. You will be the cornerstone of our financial accuracy, ensuring that every drop of fuel dispensed is accounted for, every transaction is reconciled, and our expenses are monitored with precision. Requirements:

• Daily Sales Reconciliation: Record and reconcile daily sales transactions, ensuring that cash, POS, and transfer logs align with daily records.

• Pump Reconciliation: Conduct rigorous reconciliation of pump meter readings against physical sales records to ensure no product loss.

• Expense Management: Monitor station expenses, maintain organized records of petty cash and operational costs, and flag any unauthorized spending.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial/sales reports to provide clear visibility into the station's performance.

• Discrepancy Resolution: Actively identify, investigate, and report any discrepancies in fuel levels, sales, or cash handling to management immediately.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of ND or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Technical Skills: * Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (bookkeeping).

  • Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Excel for reporting and data tracking.

• Core Competencies:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.

  • Meticulous attention to detail.

  • High level of personal integrity and ethics.

  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume retail environment.
