Job Description:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Accounts Officer to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping with excellent numerical and analytical skills.

Requirements:

• Processing invoices, payments and recipts
• Maintaining financial records and updating accounting systems • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports
• Reconciling bank statements and accounts
• Handling petty cash transactions
• Supporting the finance team with general administrative tasks
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management acrivities
• Preparation of monthly reports
• Maintenance of a fixed assets register
• Maintain debtors book to ensure that debt status is accurate and latest

Qualifications and Skills:

• Candidates should possess a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or Pastel)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
