Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Account Officer to anchor the financial engine of our Ilupeju operations. In a specialized commercial landscapewhere institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the reconciliation and the precision of the tax filing success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize daily transactions with the clinical precision required for Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll Support, and Expense Management. This role is designed for a "Financial Architect" specifically a B.Sc. or HND holder with 1-2 years of post-NYSC experience who can blend "Numerical Grit" (managing petty cash and daily records) with the "Strategic Agility" required to navigate Nigerian tax laws (WHT, VAT, PAYE).
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Ledger Governance
Record Sovereignty: Maintain up-to-date daily records of financial transactions in the accounting software, acting as the primary "Source of Fiscal Data."
Transaction Architecture: Process vendor payments and monitor outstanding invoices with millimetric focus, providing the "Structural Foundation" for healthy cash flow.
Integrity Stewardship: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are balanced, ensuring the "Source of Financial Truth" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Compliance Logic
Statutory Sovereignty: Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly tax returns (WHT, VAT, PAYE), acting as the primary "Source of Regulatory De-risking."
Expense Architecture: Review and verify staff expense claims and petty cash disbursements, providing the "Functional Foundation" for internal policy adherence.
Payroll Stewardship: Collaborate with HR/Admin to verify payroll data, maintaining the "Source of Compensation Accuracy."
3. Operational Integrity & Reporting Power
Analytical Sovereignty: Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management review, acting as the primary "Source of Financial Intelligence."
Velocity Logic: Utilize 1-2 years of post-NYSC experience to accelerate month-end closing cycles, maximizing the "Source of Financial Throughput."
Sector Mastery: Apply Manufacturing or Logistics insights to optimize cost-tracking and transaction workflows within the Ilupeju axis.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of post-NYSC experience in a similar role.
Sector Advantage: Previous experience in Manufacturing or Logistics is a major plus.
