Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our finance team in Ikoyi, Lagos. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring that financial documentation, invoicing, and receipts are handled with precision and efficiency. We are looking for an organized professional with a strong accounting foundation who can manage clerical tasks, support our record-keeping systems, and contribute to the overall smooth functioning of the accounts office. Requirements:

• Invoicing & Receipts: Raise accurate invoices for services rendered and meticulously record receipts to ensure a transparent audit trail.

• Clerical Accounting Duties: Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems, handle financial correspondence, and assist with data entry.

• Operational Support: Support the finance team with basic account reconciliations, expense tracking, and other routine financial reporting tasks.

• Documentation Management: Ensure all financial records are kept up-to-date, confidential, and compliant with internal organizational standards.

• Efficiency & Accuracy: Proactively monitor for discrepancies in daily transactions and assist in resolving minor accounting issues to ensure departmental efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: A graduate with an accounting background (B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field) is strongly preferred.

• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in an accounts or finance-focused role.
