Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Zone Manager to anchor the retail and industrial engine of our LNG/LCNG operations. In a specialized energy landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by station throughput and the precision of the fuel-relay—success is defined by "Regional Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize retail sales targets with the clinical precision required for Station Rollouts, HSE Compliance, and Industrial Volume Growth. This role is designed for an "Operational Architect" specifically a veteran leader with 15 to 20 years of experience who can blend "Commercial Grit" (driving CNG/LNG sales and market expansion) with the "Strategic Agility" required to execute P&L Management and Regulatory Liaison.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Expansion Governance
Sovereignty of the Station: Drive and achieve retail sales targets across all existing and upcoming LNG/LCNG stations, acting as the primary "Source of Regional Revenue."
Network Architecture: Identify and execute new station rollouts and market expansion opportunities, providing the "Structural Foundation" for downstream dominance.
Integrity Stewardship: Enforce discipline, reporting standards, and operational compliance across the region, ensuring the "Source of Institutional Order" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Operations Logic
Operational Sovereignty: Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all stations with high uptime, acting as the primary "Source of Service Standards."
Industrial Architecture: Manage and grow industrial customer relationships and volumes, providing the "Functional Foundation" for B2B market share.
HSE Stewardship: Manage regional profitability and cost optimization while ensuring zero major incidents, maintaining the "Source of Operational Sustainability."
3. Leadership & Influence Power
Capability Sovereignty: Lead, supervise, and develop regional teams including station managers and operators, acting as the primary "Source of Human Capital Performance."
Stakeholder Architecture: Liaise with government authorities, regulators, and transport unions, providing the "Relational Foundation" for seamless business continuity.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 15+ years of Downstream expertise to accelerate the "Lead-to-Active-Station" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Market Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience: 15 – 20 years in Oil & Gas, downstream fuel retail, or the CNG/LNG mobility sector.
Market Intelligence: Strong exposure to the Northern Nigeria market (for Kano) and the national transport ecosystem.
Leadership Power: Demonstrated ability to lead large field teams and manage multi-location operations.
Commercial Acumen: Proven experience in P&L Management and stakeholder negotiation.
