Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Warehouse & Logistics Officer to anchor our operations in Ikeja. This role is a critical intersection between global procurement and local fulfillment. Your mission is to maintain a high-integrity inventory system and manage the end-to-end logistics chain—from liaising with clearing agents at the ports to ensuring the precise dispatch of laboratory equipment and chemicals.

In this position, you are the guardian of our assets. You will be responsible for ensuring that specialized materials are stored under optimal conditions and that every shipment complies with stringent regulatory and safety standards. If you have 3–4 years of experience and a deep understanding of supply chain fluidity, we invite you to lead our logistics excellence.

Requirements:

1. Specialized Inventory & Storekeeping

  • Stock Integrity: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of goods—receipt, storage, and issuance—ensuring 100% inventory accuracy through lot tracking and shelf-life monitoring.

  • Technical Storage: Establish and enforce standards for the packaging and handling of sensitive materials (Chemicals/Lab Equipment), ensuring compliance with global safety and storage protocols.

  • Reporting: Prepare detailed daily and weekly stock movement reports for the Accounts department, providing clear visibility into warehouse throughput.

2. Logistics & Global Clearing

  • Clearing Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for authorized clearing agents to facilitate the timely release of international consignments from Customs.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Review all shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, Form M, PAAR) to ensure full compliance with Customs and inspection agency requirements.

  • Order Fulfillment: Coordinate domestic logistics and dispatch, ensuring that all customer orders are confirmed against packing lists and delivered on time.

3. Cross-Functional Synergy

  • Financial Reconciliation: Collaborate with the Accounts team on stock reconciliation, supplier invoices, and delivery notes to ensure financial and physical data alignment.

  • Technical Integration: Partner with Engineering and Business Development teams to coordinate specialized inspections, testing requirements, and supplier documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3–4 years of relevant experience. Direct experience handling chemicals and laboratory equipment is highly preferred.

  • Tech IQ: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Inventory Management Systems (IMS) or ERP software.

Core Competencies

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Nigerian Customs processes and safety standards for hazardous/sensitive materials.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to prepare accurate reports and identify trends in stock consumption.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for high-stakes coordination with agents, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
