The position

• The Verification Officer role involves reviewing and evaluating address verification pictures submitted by sales agents and field verification agents for customers applying for loans, ensuring all submissions meet the company’s verification and compliance standards. 

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze address verification pictures and reports submitted by sales agents and verification agents.
• Approve or decline verification submissions based on company verification criteria.
• Review verification reports on third-party vendor platforms used by the company.
• Liaise with verification agents and provide them with relevant customer details for verification visits.
• Ensure verification submissions meet GPS, landmark, and image quality requirements.
• Identify inconsistencies or suspicious information and escalate when necessary.
• Ensure verifications are completed within the required turnaround time (TAT).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in field verification, dispatch riding, or a similar role.
• Experience in field verification, operations, or related admin/fintech role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in reports/images
• Ability to review verification photos against set standards (GPS, landmarks, image quality)
• Basic understanding of loan/credit verification processes
• Good communication skills to liaise with field/sales agents
• Ability to use verification tools, dashboards, and mobile/GPS applications
• Strong judgment to identify suspicious information and escalate when needed
• Ability to work within strict turnaround time (TAT) deadlines
