Job Description:

We are seeking a highly analytical, technically skilled, and customer-centric Ticketing & Reservation Officer to oversee the full lifecycle of our corporate and retail travel bookings. In this high-velocity role, you will be the operational engine driving itinerary architecture, fare optimization, and flawless ticket execution.

This position demands far more than basic booking entries; it requires a Global Distribution System (GDS) expert who can untangle complex multi-city flight routings, navigate rigid airline fare rules to protect client margins, and leverage persuasive communication to convert travel inquiries into confirmed high-value sales.

Requirements:

1. Advanced GDS Reservations & Fare Engineering

• Strategic Fare Management: Leverage global distribution networks to research, structure, quote, and issue international and domestic tickets, ensuring all routings are optimized for cost-efficiency, minimal layovers, and client convenience.

• Complex Itinerary Planning: Architect and coordinate intricate, multi-stop international flight routings tailored specifically to complex passenger profiles and strict corporate travel policies.

• Space Optimization: Actively monitor high-demand waitlists, flight blocks, and "on-request" bookings to secure confirmed seating on tightly booked seasonal travel dates.

2. Customer Support, Retargeting & Modifications

• Fluid Ticket Re-engineering: Facilitate seamless, error-free ticket modifications, revalidations, reissuances, and cancellations. Masterfully interpret diverse airline tariff policies to minimize financial penalties and refund friction for the client.

• Ancillary Revenue Generation: Identify strategic touchpoints to upsell value-added travel products, including premium cabin upgrades, travel insurance, airport lounge access, and customized tour packaging.

3. Corporate Client Advisory & Market Intelligence

• Proactive Consultation: Act as a premier travel consultant, providing real-time technical briefs on evolving international transit protocols, visa requirements, baggage allowances, and health regularities.

• Market Monitoring: Stay systematically updated on global airline industry changes, alliance route modifications, and macro fare regulation shifts to offer superior market positioning.

4. Lead Conversion & Commercial Growth

• Sales Pipeline Conversion: Follow up on inbound travel inquiries and corporate quote requests, deploying professional communication techniques to secure high conversion rates.

• Brand Advocacy: Educate corporate accounts and individual clients on the organization’s full service portfolio, specialized flight charters, and loyalty program incentives.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Academic Minimum: Ordinary National Diploma (OND) qualification minimum; a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a related field is an added advantage.

• Track Record: Minimum of four (4) years of active, verifiable ticketing and reservations experience within a reputable travel agency, corporate travel management company, or airline desk.

• Industry Plus: Practical experience in designing and costing custom local or international tour packages is highly preferred.
