Job Description:
Nepal Group is seeking a results-driven Station Manager to lead our retail operations in Warri, Delta State. In the fuel retail industry, the Station Manager is the custodian of profitability, safety, and brand integrity. You are not just overseeing a facility; you are managing a high-stakes retail environment where inventory precision and customer service excellence are the keys to success.
Your mission is to drive sales growth while maintaining a "Zero-Loss" environment. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the station—from fuel stock reconciliation and staff supervision to ensuring 100% compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards. Requirements:
1. Inventory Management & Loss Prevention
Fuel Reconciliation: Conduct daily "Dip" readings and meter reconciliations to ensure physical stock aligns perfectly with sales records.
Loss Mitigation: Monitor and investigate any product shortages or variances, implementing strict controls to eliminate "shrinkage" or theft.
Supply Coordination: Manage replenishment cycles by coordinating with the logistics team to ensure the station never runs "dry."
2. Retail Operations & Sales Leadership
Sales Growth: Drive fuel and non-fuel revenue (LPG, lubricants, etc.) through proactive customer engagement and high-standard service delivery.
Financial Accountability: Oversee daily cash collections, ensuring all payments (POS and Cash) are accurately recorded and banked according to company policy.
Asset Maintenance: Ensure all pumps, generators, and equipment are in peak working condition through regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
3. Safety (HSE) & Compliance
Safety Stewardship: Enforce strict "No Smoking" and "Switch Off Engine" protocols, ensuring the station meets all fire safety and environmental regulations.
Regulatory Liaison: Ensure the station is compliant with all local and federal downstream regulations (including NMDPRA standards).
Team Supervision: Lead and train fuel attendants and security staff, fostering a culture of discipline, integrity, and safety.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Location: Must currently reside in Warri, Delta State (No relocation provided).
Education: Minimum of a University Degree or HND in any discipline.
Service: Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with a valid certificate.
Experience: Previous experience in retail management, sales, or the oil and gas sector is highly desirable.
Core Competencies
Numerical Literacy: Strong ability to calculate volumes, margins, and reconciliations quickly and accurately.
Integrity: A proven track record of honesty and accountability in handling cash and inventory.
Leadership: Ability to manage a diverse team of attendants in a fast-paced environment.
