Job Description:
- The Spa Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operational efficiency, financial performance, and service excellence of the spa.
- The role ensures delivery of high-quality spa services, drives revenue growth, maintains regulatory compliance, and leads a high-performing team to achieve business objectives and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, supervise, and motivate spa therapists, estheticians, and support staff.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Foster a positive, professional, and customer-centric culture.
- Ensure continuous skills development and service quality improvement.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Maintain exceptional client experience standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
- Implement feedback mechanisms to enhance service delivery and retention.
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily spa operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to SOPs.
- Manage appointment scheduling, staff allocation, and service delivery.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and ambiance standards are consistently met.
- Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, revenue targets, and cost controls.
- Monitor daily sales, expenses, and profitability.
- Prepare periodic financial and operational performance reports.
- Optimize resource utilization to maximize ROI.
- Drive sales initiatives, promotions, and membership programs.
- Collaborate on marketing campaigns to increase footfall and revenue.
- Upsell products and services to improve average transaction value.
- Build partnerships and corporate client relationships.
Communication & Coordination:
- Maintain effective communication with staff, management, and clients.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers.
Organization & Time Management:
- Ensure efficient scheduling and resource planning.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and staff performance.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making:
- Proactively identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Address service disruptions or staff conflicts effectively.
Technical & Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain valid licenses and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Stay updated on trends, treatments, and best practices in spa management.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of spa treatments, skincare, and wellness therapies.
- Demonstrated competence in hands-on spa services.
- Proven leadership, financial management, and sales capabilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in spa operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/management role.
- Certified Esthetician.
Salary
